Wow! Hard to Believe!
Can you believe it? I must have somehow persuaded the good people at Amazon.com that I am interested in the Mediterranean because they sent me an email this morning suggesting that I might be interested in this heavy tome at a mere $255.74!!! At Amazon mind you.
I suspect that it would be a very useful reference and possibly an interesting bedtime read but that price tag for a textbook just blows my mind, what little is left that is.
I now know that I should have paid more attention to economics in school. Or has the cost of textbooks been creeping up, like medical costs and college and university tuition fees, faster than the rate of ordinary inflation?
